Kale Salad Recipe

Healthy and Delicious Kale Salad

In honour of nutrition month we have decided to dedicate a weekly post to our favourite recipes, which are healthy, nutritious, and do not require too much time to make! The first recipe we would like to recommend is of a delicious and healthy kale salad. This specific recipe is a result of experimenting and mixing different recipes that we found online, but it was mainly inspired by a recipe found at TiasKitchen.com. Ingredients:

1. Kale – 1 Bunch

2. One Green apple- Granny Smith

3. Five-ten Strawberries

4. Walnuts or pecans- half a cup

5. Goat Cheese-(Optional)

Dressing Ingredients:

1. Honey- 3 tbs

2. Mustard- 2 tbs

3. White Vinegar – 1 tbs

4. Olive Oil – 3 tbs

Directions

1. Chop the kale into small pieces and remove the stems. 2. Peele the green apple, and cut it into small, thin slices. 3. Cut the strawberries into 4 pieces. 4. Chop the walnuts or pecans. 5. Mix the ingredients for the dressing in a small container and shake/stir until fully incorporated. 6. Combine the fresh ingredients in a large bowl, add the dressing, mix well, add the goat cheese (optional) and enjoy!
