WORKERS COMPENSATION BENEFIT OVERVIEW – WSIB/WCB
If you have been hurt or injured at work, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) is there to assist you in your time of need. In order to receive benefits through WSIB, you must:
- Be a worker with an employer covered by WSIB
- Have an injury or illness as a result of your work
- Reported your injury to your employer and the WSIB and filed the appropriate claim

PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT FUNDED PROGRAMS
The Ontario Government, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Ministry of Community and Social Services provide assistance to residents of the province with long-term physical disabilities to assist them in receiving the care they need.
